A Charming Antique French Gilt Silver Vase by Jules MONNEY.
This lovely piece is done in the Louis XV style, with a flower garland decorating the central register, while the upper and lower edges are worked with a ‘vagues peignées’ or painted vase motif.
The vase is in silver with a gilt so fresh it makes us believe it may have been gilded again down the line.
It is charming to decorate a table with spray roses!
