Elegant set of Eght Empire Style Antique French Silver and Crystal Salt Cellars by ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Emile BERGERON.

These lovely French Silver open salt caddies or cellars are in the Empire Style oval shaped and decorated with Swans on each side.
The cellars stand on swan feet on each side and on a seashell shape in the center.
The center of the cellars are decorated with a tulip wreath tied with a ribbon on top.
The swans are beautifully detailed with each feather delicately shaped.

The interior of the caddies or cellars are coated in 18 carat gold or ‘vermeillé’, which shows through the original clear crystal inserts.
Eight dainty spoons complete the set and are original to it, showing the same wreath on the front and a delicate shell in the back.

The salt cellars and spoons, as well as the crystal inserts are in excellent condition and come in their original presentation box.
The box is in very good condition.
Measures given above are for the salt Cellars. The spoons are 2.87 inches long.

The Hallmark is Minerve -1st title – 1838 -1919 -Paris

The Makers Mark is for Emile Bergeron.
It show his two initials separated by a trowel.
His mark was registered on April 17th 1902.
His workshop was located 15 Passage du Buisson Saint Louis in Paris.
