Lovely Antique French Silver Strawberry Service Set By Ernie~Sold~

A Lovely Antique French Silver Strawberry Serving Set by Maître Orfèvre Edouard ERNIE.

This complete set is in its original box, which shows only light scruff marks on the outside of it but is otherwise in excellent good state.
The set features a gorgeous Strawberry Service Spoon, decorated with a lovely strawberry branch held aloft by a flying cherub.
The side of the spoon bowl is lightly scalloped in a wave pattern.

The Sugar Sifter Spoon is a beauty with its bowl completely carved out in a foliage ‘repercé’, while the bowl of the spoon attaches to the handle with a delicately carved acanthus and strawberry leaves.
Both handles are worked with a beautiful spray of acanthus and strawberry leaves, decorated with acanthus leaves and laurel chutes. The chiseling work is exquisite!
Both pieces are intact.
A charming set!
