Beautiful Empire French Silver Teapot By Denis Colombier

Gorgeous Empire Antique French Silver Tea Pot by ‘Maitre Orfèvre’ Denis COLOMBIER.

This beautiful piece has a lovely and elegant shape, typical of the Empire Style.
The oval shape is very pure and unmarred by any heavy decorations leaving all the beauty to the streamed lines.
The ebony handle is softly shaped and very pure, linked to the body of the teapot by a simple silver rosette.

The lid sits flush on the upper part of the pot, with only a very slight rise in the shape, while its fringe is lined with a laurel leaf wreath.
The finial is a simple ebony button, leaving all the attention focused on the gorgeous silver spout which is shaped as the head of a dolphin!
The pedestal is oval simply lined by a laurel leaf wreath.
The shape is gorgeous and the piece truly beautiful!
