An absolutely beautiful Antique French Silver and Crystal Pair of Salt Cellars by SJ Dupezard
The details on these two pieces are amazing!

The salt cellars have separate bases in Antique Silver and large wheel crystal bowls.
The Silver base are astounding, with beautifully detailed swans, resting on nests of Acanthus leaves. Their outstretched wings are beautifully detailed with each feather perfectly depicted.

The second lovely detail on these pieces are the 4 delicately carved dolphins that serve as feet.
They stand on their heads with their tails and flippers fanning out on both sides.
The Gorgeous carved crystal bowls are held by the swans’ outstretched wings.
An absolutely gorgeous pair! Rare to find in this perfectly state!
We are including two Antique French Silver salt spoons.

The Hallmark is Poinçon Au Vieillard or Michael Angelo Hallmark for Paris -1st title (950/1000) – 1819 -1838

The Makers Mark is for SJ DUPEZARD and shows an SJD.
Dupezard registered his mark in 1809 and cancelled it in 1822.
He held shop in Paris, 32 rue de la Bucherie.
