Charming 18th Century Flemish School Ink Drawing Of Putti

Charming XVIII Century Flemish School Ink And Brown Wash Drawing Of Three Puttis
This Drawing is simply lovely!

It shows 3 Putti or cherubs playing in the clouds while seemingly pouring roses and flowers out of a cauldron.
Worked in a Tondo or round format, it might have been intended as a project for a ceiling.
The artist masterfully concentrated on the movements of the three cherubs, highlighting their chubby legs and cheeks and using a flowing cloth to counterbalance the falling flowers.
The scene is wonderful.

The Drawing was first executed in Ink pencil, then highlighted with a Brown and Grey Wash.

The Drawing has been appraised by the Cabinet de Bayser, who specializes in Drawings.

The Drawing measures 5.11 inches in diameter.
The Frame measures 12.50 inches high by 12 width.
