Charming 18th Century Pair Of Ink and Ink Wash Drawings

A very charming duo of Ink drawins representing Antique Ruins dated 1795.
Done in Brown Ink and Ink wash, they are lovely and were initially attributed to Claude Gellé, but due to the date, could not be of that draughtsman.

The first drawing shows cow herders sitting by a ruined bridge, while other figures are shown fishing by the little river.
The second drawing shows a few artists close to a ruined temple, portraying the scene around them.
Both are truly lovely, with a gorgeous technique of wash enhancing the masterful strokes of the main drawing.

Both drawings measure 7 inches x 9 inches
The simple gilt wood frames measure 13 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches
