Charming 19th Century Officer’s Clock in Gilt Bronze in Box

A charming officer’s clock in gilded bronze and crystal, presented in its box, which bears the initials DS under a Count’s crown.

The clock is finely chiseled with a decoration of scrolls and bunches of grapes, framed by fluted pilasters with a fine band of arabesque on the upper and lower part.
A wonderful example of the clocks that were given to officers before reporting to duty in the 19th century.
The mechanism is visible through the side and rear crystal panels.
