Charming Antique French Silver and Crystal Cookie Jar by Fouquet Lapar

A Charming Antique French Silver and Cut Crystal Cookie Jar by Maître Orfèvre Georges Fouquet Lapar.

While often found in a smaller model, the sheer size of this lovely Jar makes it exceptional!
It is distinguished by its lovely workmanship, elegant form, harmonious proportions and its beautiful decoration.
The crystal itself is beautifully worked with ‘intaglio’ restauration period details of music instruments as well as garden implements and bows and quivers.
The upper part is lined with a wave silver design, and equipped with an elegant handle completely decorated with rosettes and floral scrolls.
The lid is done the same figural décor as the crystal body and is topped by a finial in the shape of a raspberry.
It is intact, no losses to the silver and no marks on the crystal –just beautiful!
