Charming Antique French Silver And Crystal Condiment Set by ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Maurice BRUNET

This Set is really lovely!
It consists of 4 Silver Open Salt Cellars or Caddies decorated in the Rocaille Style, with oval shapes resting on 4 tiny acanthus leaves feet.
The main silver register is decorated with 2 olives branches and a medallion surrounded by a flowing ribbon.
The interior of the caddies or cellars are coated in 18 carat gold or ‘vermeillé’, which shows through the original clear crystal inserts.

The Mustard Cellar is decorated in the same way, the upper rim is lined with silver gadroons and the lid is topped by a Finial in the shape of a nut.
The interior of the cellar is also gold coated, and features its original clear crystal insert.

Five dainty spoons complete the set and are original to it. They show the ‘rocaille’ style handles decorated with delicate flower chutes.
The spoon bowls are coated in gold.

The full set is in ‘mint’ condition! No chips, no losses, no marks, just charming
They come in their original presentation box which is in perfect condition!
The Salt Cellars are 2.95 inches in width and 1.96 inches in height.
The Mustard Cellar is 3.14 inches in width and 3.55 inches in height.
The Salt spoons are 3.1 inches long, while the mustard spoon measures 3.7 inches long.

The Hallmark is Minerve -1st title (950/1000)- 1838 -1919 –Paris

The Makers Mark is for Maurice BRUNET and shows his two initials with a triangle and a star in the middle between them.
He registered his mark on May 2nd 1895 and cancelled in July 1903.
He was located 212 rue Saint Martin in Paris.
