Charming Antique French Silver Liquor Service set composed of 12 silver tumblers and one silver platter by ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Henri Soufflot.

This lovely set is decorated in the Louis XV style or Rocaille style.
The upper part of the silver liquor tumblers is lined with a combed wave design called vague peignee in French..
The solid silver platter is lined by a larger design of combed waves and floral garlands.

The work is lovely and the pieces are in excellent condition with no marks or losses.

The Hallmark is Minerve -1st title (950/1000) – 1838 -1919-Paris

The Makers Mark is for Maitre Orfèvre Henri Soufflot and shows an H and an S separated by a rising sun and a star.
The mark was registered in 1884 in Paris.
His workshop was located 89 rue de Turbigo in Paris.
