Charming French Silver Strawberry Service Set By Debain~Sold~

A Charming Antique French Silver and Vermeil Strawberry Serving Set by Maître Orfèvre Alphonse DEBAIN.

This complete set is in its original box, which shows only light scruff marks on the outside of it but is in impeccable shape inside.
The Set is decorated in the Art Nouveau style, in which Alphonse DEBAIN excelled!

Looking at the first photo we have the following implements, starting from the bottom up:
A gorgeous Sugar Sifter Spoon! An absolute beauty with its bowl completely carved out in an acanthus foliage ‘repercé, the center part on the back left in silver in order to highlight the details, while the remainder is entirely covered in 18 carat gold. The bowl of the spoon attaches to the Russian Style handle with a gorgeous bouquet of acanthus leaves.
The sugar sifter is 8.26 inches long.
The handles also showcase acanthus leaves as in all 4 pieces.
The second implement is a gorgeous Strawberry Service Spoon, the bowl of the spoon worked with both silver and Vermeil or 18 carat gold in order to create more contrast and showcase the acanthus leaves etched on it. The spoon measures 10.23 inches long.
The third implement is a lovely gilded Cream spoon measuring 6.49 inches long
The fourth implement is a Sugar Tongs, which measures 5.31 inches long.
All pieces are in great state! Absolutely no marks or scratches and the ‘vermeil’ is still completely present!
A beautiful find!
