Charming Italian School XVIII Century Sepia Wash Drawing

The Drawing shows a masterful execution typical of the XVII, XVIII century in Italy.
The lively scene is drawn in Pencil and black ink along with a brown wash.

The artist concentrated on the movements of the opponents and their clothes infusing them with life.
The piece depicts and Antique Scene with the Toga dressed women seeming to direct a seated warrior or men towards a far off town.

It is a wonderful work of art, typical of the period.

The Drawing is in a Period frame in darker wood that has for once not been gold covered.
We particularly like the simplicity of the frame which adds depth to the drawing.

On the two upper corners we can find traces of red wax seals.
This charming Antique rendition was acquired at the SVV Marambat in Toulouse under # 234
