A Charming Pair of Presentation plates in Saxe Style Porcelain and Vermeil Silver by Risler & Carré.

The round presentation plates are done in a wickerwork style, with scalloped edges.
The porcelain is beautifully hand painted with a variety of flowers, ladybugs and butterflies, while the scalloped border is delicately gilded.
The bases are done in Gilt Silver or Vermeil, with a frieze of oak and laurel leaves.

The work is truly exquisite and the lightness of the pieces lovely on a table to hold cookies or chocolates or fruits.
The two bowls are in superb shape.
