Delicate Antique Silver Knife Holders By Lefebvre~Sold~

Delicate and Gorgeous Antique French Silver Knife Holders by Maitre Orfèvre Eugène LEFEBVRE.

This gorgeous Set of 12 knife holders is decorated in the Rocaille Style, with swirling floral scrolls surrounding a medallion showcasing an AA Monogram.
The Silver rod linking both ends is square and lightly twisted to give it a more delicate aspect, contributing to the overall lightness of the pieces.

The knife holders became more popular towards the middle of the 19th Century, the symbol of a table perfectly set up.
Our Knife Holders are perfectly balanced, very elegant and in perfect shape.
A true rare find as most of the Knife Holders on the market today are plated silver.
