Delicate Set Of 12 French Silver Ice Cream Spoons By Boyer Callot

A Delicate Antique French Silver And Vermeil Ice Cream Spoon Set by Maître Orfèvre François Auguste Boyer Callot.

This lovely set of 12 spoons is done in the Francois 1er style, with a thin and carved handle with a cut out of leaves on the upper part.
The Silver is voluntarily partially gilded to enhance the design.
The bowl of the spoons are worked with 18 carat gold and are decorated with a beautifully carved Monogram showing a G and C.

All pieces are in great state, the gilding intact.

The Hallmark is Minerva 2-1st title (800/1000) – 1838 -1919 – Paris

The Makers Mark is for ‘Maître Orfèvre’ François Auguste Boyer Callot.
It shows a B and a C separated by a Crown topped Chalice.
The Mark was registered on September 13th 1865.
His workshop was located 30 rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie in Paris.
