Delicate Silver Pastry Tongs By Eschwege~Sold~

A delicate and refined Antique French Silver Pastry Tongs by ‘Maitre Orfèvre’ Eschwège.
Eschwege is one of the rare marks that do bring us a little later in time as we do love the refinement of their pieces!

This gorgeous piece is chiselled with delicate foliage scrolls, flowers and lattice patterns.

Though originally conceived to serve pastries it can be used for bread or fruit….
The work is lovely and the piece is in brilliant condition with no marks or losses!
It comes in its presentation box by the Silversmith who was marketing it in Alger.
The width given above is that of the larger part of the tongs while the height is that of the scissors part.
