A Decorative Pair of circa 1820, Chiselled and Gilt Bronze French Restauration Candlesticks.
Showcasing a circular low domed base decorated with grapes as well as acanthus leaves on a partially matte background.
The partially fluted stem is chiselled with palmettos and acanthus leaves and rises out of an acanthus leaves cup to end in a spreading candleholder.
The socket is decorated with a delicate ‘Décor à la grecque’ or a greek style geometric fringe.
The pair is in fine condition.
A lovely and elegant way to decorate your dinner table.
