The Beautiful piece has its matching removable oval under tray slightly dipped in the middle, and accented by the same laurel leaf motifs that grace the sides of the main dish.
The Dish itself rests on a raised oval pedestal also lined by laurel leaves.
The Elegant Handle is worked in a beautiful solid Silver Eagle’s head with a spray of Acanthus leaves fanning from its lithe neck.
The piece is perfect in its balance and style.
It is complete of its solid silver liner.
It sits beautifully on a table, perfect to serve your favourite sauces!

The Hallmark is Minerve 1 -1st title (950/1000) – Hence 1838 to 1919 – Paris
The Makers Mark is fully marked out as BOIN TABURET A PARIS. The mark is for ‘Maîtres Orfèvres’ Georges BOIN and Emile TABURET.
After individual successful careers they joined forces and registered their joint mark in 1873. They went on to win a gold medal for their beautiful pieces in 1889 during the Paris World Fair.
They worked at 3 Rue Pasquier near the Madeleine Area of Paris.
