Elegant Antique French Silver and Crystal Condiments Cellars Set by ‘Maitre Orfèvre’ LN NAUDIN
The design is very pure and very elegant with a silver wire frame body, resting on a round solid silver pedestal which is slightly dome shaped.
The three simple lines define the border of the pedestal, while the body is composed of light silver loops.
The Upper rim shows again the same 3 simple silver lines.
The style is typical of what will later be known as Empire Style with very clean and elegant lines.

The cobalt blue insert are beautiful, heavy crystal beautifully worked, and intact!
All four pieces are marked with a JP Monogram

One of the four cellars is done by a different Master Silver smith and shows a slight difference in the stem.
The Makers Mark on that one is for Charles Marie GUIDEE who registered his mark in 1801.
The hallmark on that cellar is 1st Coq for Paris 1798/1809

The Hallmark is Michael Angelo (Poinçon au Vieillard )-1st title (950/1000) – Hence 1819 to 1838– Paris

The Makers Mark is for Maitre Orfèvre LN NAUDIN (Fils) who registered his mark in 1812 and shows his initials
His workshop was located 24 place de Thionville in Paris
