Elegant Antique Silver Tea Service Set By Rue~Sold~

Elegant and Very Rare Antique French Silver 16 pieces Tea Service Set by ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Léon RUĒ.
It is a very elegant edition and features 12 individual spoons and 1 pair of sugar tongs as well as a Tea sifter.
What makes this set so special, is the fact that it also includes a matching Sugar Casket and a Creamer in the same exact design!

All pieces showcase a Laurel leaves garland design, with laurel garlands on the handles attachments, and ribbon reeds on the stems.
The sugar tongs show the same handles ending in perfectly formed Lion’s paws.
The creamer has an ebony handle and an acanthus leaf design on the spout.
The same acanthus design shows on the sugar casket handles, while its finial features a blackberry.

The sifter spoon has a solid silver handle and a silver circle around its sifter bowl, which is weighed down (lester in French) hence is not part of the Silver Weight we are listing.

The set is originally devised for tea service, but can be used as a coffee service set as well.
The set is in Silver and is beautifully preserved, with no dents to the pieces or losses, just perfectly elegant!
It is presented in its original box which is in overall good condition with only a split of the lid.

The spoons are 5.2 inches long
The sugar tongs are 5.7 inches long
The Tea Sifter is 7.1 inches long
The Sugar casket is 5.5 inches high
