Elegant Pair of Silver And Crystal Carafes By C Barrier

An Elegant Pair of French Silver and Crystal Decanters or ‘Carafes’, by Charles BARRIER.

As they stand a little higher then the usual decanter, we would be more inclined to think of them as Wine Carafes.
The Crystal has been wheel cut on the sides of the Carafes to reveal an elegant lined pattern.
The bottom of the carafes are wheel cut into a star shape.

The Silver top is very elegant with a laurel wreath circling the lower part of the silver and a rounded band at the mouth of the decanter. The topper is also made of Silver with a crystal end and carries the same laurel leaf wreath design. Quite amazingly the crystal inserts of the toppers are intact.

The work is absolutely stunning and the pieces are in brilliant condition with no chips.
