French Restoration Period Pair of Lamp Mounted Ormolu Cassolettes

Gorgeous Pair of Ormolu French Restoration Period, Antique Vase Shaped Cassolettes, mounted as lamps.

This Gorgeous Pair of Gilt Bronze, Baluster Vase Shaped Cassolettes date back to Circa 1815-1820.

They rest on high Piedouche or Pedestals elaborately chased, knurled and beautifully gilded.
The Handles curl on each side with an acanthus and palmetto design, ending at the junction of the vases in a lightly open bouquet.
The upper part of the vases is gadrooned and decorated with spokes of heart while its lower part is chiseled with beautifully chased acanthus leaves alternating with flowers sprays.
The set rests on columns decorated with flowers seedlings ending on a square section base with, chiseled with a laurel leaves taurus..

The Gilding is intact and of excellent quality.
The lamps are wired for US electricity.
