Gorgeous Antique Silver and Cristal Salt Cellars Set by Canaux~Sold~

A Gorgeous and Rare set of Antique French Silver and Crystal Salt Cellars by ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Paul CANAUX, in the very elegant ‘Directoire’ Style.

The set consists of 4 independent salt cellars and 2 sets of joined salt cellars or condiments cellars, all of which are solid silver with cobalt blue crystal interiors.

The 4 independent salt cellars are oval shaped with the upper register of the silver bodies showcasing a wave and scrolls design while the lower register displays gothic style arches. The interiors are in cobalt blue crystal and absolutely intact, no chips at all..
The two sets of linked salt cellars or condiment cellars show the same oval shape as well as the same gothic pillars in silver and the wave and scroll upper register, however they are linked in the center by two baluster shaped silver pillars.

Again they are in mint condition and just exquisite! We definitely fell in love with this gorgeous set! An amazing find!

We also have their original eight salt spoon with the spoon itself lightly dipped in vermeil.
They come in their original presentation box which is in excellent condition.

The height above is that of the 4 independant salt cellars. The length and width is also that of the two independant cellars.
The two linked cellars measures are as follows: 2.6 inches high. Height taken at the top of the silver central pillars. Length of the linked cellars together is 4 inches.
