While Selfish Coffee pots are more easily found in French Silver – Selfish tea Pots are extremely rare!

What is amazing in this little fellow is the fact that it resembles closely the Art Deco style yet pre dates it by more then a hundred years!
The oval shape is very pure and unmarred by any heavy decorations leaving all the beauty to the streamed lines.
The ebony handle is softly shaped and again very simple and very pure.
The lid sits flush on the upper part of the pot, only outlined by a slightly raised oval insert.
The finial reflects the same purity showcasing a simple round ebony button topped by a silver dot.
