Gorgeous French Silver and Vermeil Full Flatware Set by Henri Soufflot

An absolutely stunning Complete Antique French Silver and Vermeil flatware Set by Henri Soufflot dating to Circa 1890.

The model presented model shows a lovely spatula decorated with laurel and acanthus leaves in the Louis XV style.
The knife sets are with mother of pearl handles, with the base of the handles and the ferules in silver or gilt silver.
The Set is presented in its original display Oak and felt box, from the reseller in Lyon.

This beautiful Set includes 5 plateaux containing the following:
Plateau # 1: 24 dinner forks, 12 dinner spoons, 18 dessert and coffee spoons
Plateau # 2: 12 oysters forks, 5 hors d’oeuvres serving pieces, 24 dinner knives with mother of pearl handles and stainless-steel blades
Plateau # 3: 12 vermeil entremets or dessert forks, 12 vermeil entremets or dessert spoons, 12 cheese knives with mother of pearl handles and stainless-steel blades, 12 dessert knives with mother of pearl handles and gilt silver vermeil blades, a butter or cheese knife, and a vermeil nutcracker.
Plateau # 4: All with vermeil: A pair of salad servers, a strawberry scoop, a sugar sifter or sprinkling spoon, a Strawberry serving spoon, large sugar tongs, a tea strainer, smaller sugar tongs, a tea strainer, a pie cutter and server knife, a small sugar tongs and three pieces of bonbons service, as well as grape shears.
Plateau # 5: An asparagus scoop, a fish service fork and knife, a roast service set of fork and knife, and a ladle.

The menagère has a total of 163 pieces.
All pieces show a rare, raised silver monogram (hence instead of chiseling the initials you added the Silver initials to the pieces). The monogram shows MM initials.
The box is in excellent shape all the plateaux are intact and complete.

The Silver weight is incredible 6 kilograms 656 grams or 14 Pounds and 676 ounces
The full weight with the pieces bearing mother of pearl is 11 Kilograms 299 grams or 24 Pounds and 299 grams

The Hallmark is Minerva 1st title- (950/1000) 1838/1919 – Paris

The Makers Mark is for ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Henri SOUFFLOT.
It shows his initials topped by a rising sun with a star below.
He registered his mark in April 1884, taking over the workshop of from Henri Chenailler.
He cancelled his mark in November 1910.
His workshop was located 89 rue de Turbigo in Paris
