A Lovely Antique French Silver Strawberry Serving Set by Maîtres Orfèvres HENIN & VIVIER

This complete set is in its original box, which shows only light scruff marks on the outside of it but is otherwise in excellent good state.
The set features a gorgeous Strawberry Service Spoon, decorated with a lovely strawberry branch.
The side of the spoon bowl is lightly scalloped.

The Sugar Sifter Spoon is a beauty with its bowl completely carved out in a foliage ‘repercé, while the bowl of the spoon attaches to the handle with a delicately carved laurel leaf branch leaf.
Both handles are worked in a delicate Louis XVI style, decorated with acanthus leaves and laurel chutes. The handle bears an AJ monogram.
Both pieces are intact.

The Makers Mark is for ‘Maîtres Orfèvres’ HENIN & VIVIER
Their Mark was registered on July 3rd 1891 and cancelled on August 7th 1896.
It features an H and a V separated by a rosebud topped by a star.
HENIN & VIVIER were succeeded by HENIN & Cie.
