Lovely Antique Vermeil Strawberry Set By Gabert ~Sold~

A Gorgeous Antique French Silver And Vermeil Strawberry Serving Set by Maître Orfèvre Henri GABERT.

This complete set is in its original box, which shows only light scruff marks on the outside of it but is otherwise in a good state.
The set features a gorgeous Strawberry Service Spoon, worked with Vermeil or 18 carat gold. The side of the spoon bowl features a beautiful ‘repercé’ detail outlining a floral spread and foliage as well as a cornucopia.

The Sugar Sifter Spoon is a beauty with its bowl completely carved out in a foliage ‘repercé, while the bowl of the spoon attaches to the handle with a delicately carved Acanthus leaf.
Both handles are worked in a delicate Louis XVI style, decorated with acanthus leaves and tulip chutes.
All pieces are in great state and the ‘vermeil’ is intact!
A charming set!
