Lovely Set of 4 Oyster Shaped Silver Salt Cellars by Edouard Ernie

These four lovely Antique French Silver open salt caddies or cellars, were created by ‘Maitre Orfèvre’ Edouard Ernie.

The 4 salt caddies are worked in beautiful ‘rocaille’ style shaped like beautiful oysters! The interior of the caddies are coated in gold or ‘vermeillé’ which shows through the original crystal inserts.
Four lovely little spoons complete the set and are original to it– again adopting the rocaille style, with the spoon part shaped like a seashell and the handles etched with flowers.

The set is in its original box which is in excellent condition. The cellars themselves are in condition condition.
