Lovely Set Of 4 Silver Salt And Pepper Cellars by Victor Leneuf

A Lovely Set of Antique French Silver Salt And Pepper Cellars by Maitre Orfèvre Victor Leneuf.

Though produced in the later part of the 1800s, they take after the Louis XVI style.
The gorgeous pair of dual Salt and Pepper cellars are oval, rest on 4 feet designed as Sheep’s hooves.
The main body of the cellars is simply yet beautifully worked in a guilloche pattern.
The cellars are separated in the middle by a raised silver panel topped by a floral design and acanthus leaves.
One side of the partition would have been used for salt, the other for pepper.
The little spoons are scalloped and show floral decorated handles.
All pieces are in perfect condition! No losses to the silver and no marks! They will be lovely on the dinner table!
The cellars measure 2.83 inches x 1.88 inches large and 2.44 inches high.
