Rare Silver & Crystal Salt & Condiment Set by A Mignerot~Sold~

This beautiful Antique French Silver and Crystal Set is rather rare to come by, and is the work of an excellent Maitre Orfèvre Ambroise MIGNEROT and another renown silversmith who collaborated with him.
The set consists of 4 Antique Silver Open Salt Caddies or Cellars and 2 matching Condiment (or Mustard) Pot.

The design is very pure and very elegant with silver wire frame bodies, resting on solid silver pedestals. The mustard pots are equally elegant with a beautifuly curved handle rising up and with a bell shaped finial ending in a pine cone. The style is typical of what will later be known as Empire Style with very clean and elegant lines.

The Cobalt blue inserts on the Condiment pots are original to the pieces-The crystal inserts on the salt cellars seem to be as well. One bears a chip that is actually not really visible once the insert is inside of the silver bowl.No dents or marks on the silver vessels.
We can include the 2 condiment spoons shown on the pictures-but they would come at an extra price- Please inquire with us.
Height given above is that of the Mustard pots taken at the finial. The height of the salt cellar is: 2.55′. The width given above is that of the Mustard pots. The width of the salt cellars is: 2.95′. The Depth given above is that of the Mustard pots-The depth of the salt cellars inserts in 0.98′
