Rare Set Of Vermeil Salt And Mustard Spoons By Latourette

A Rare and Charming Set of 6 Antique French Vermeil Salt spoons with matching Mustard spoon by Charles Gilles Latourette.

The six salt spoons show a lovely seashell shaped spoon bowl, while the mustard spoon is simply rounded.
The pieces are intact with the Vermeil, or 24 carat gold wash, untouched – just lovely.
They come in their presentation box which is in great condition.
The salt spoon are 3.93 inches long.
The mustard spoon is 4.44 inches long.

The Hallmark is Michael Angelo 1-1st Title (950/1000) or Poincon Au Vieillard – for Paris 1819/1838

The Makers Mark is for ‘Maître Orfèvre’ Charles Gilles LATOURETTE
His Mark was registered on July 25th 1820. It features his initials with a Tower topped by a Fleur de Lys.
His workshop was located 38 rue Pastourelle in Paris
