Standing tall and beautifully detailed the Tritons pairs intertwine their tails and open impressive maws, while resting on a black marble base, which in turn rests on a white marble block.
The quality of the chiseling is lovely pointing to the end of the 18th Century, with a style very familiar to that time.
They can be used as decorative items or as book ends.
A beautiful addition to a library or a desk.
