An Absolutely Beautiful and Refined French Silver and Crystal Liquor Service Set, by Maitre Orfèvre Charles BARRIER.
This set consists in 6 delicate glasses made of crystal and silver and of a refined Carafe also made of crystal and silver.
Each glass shows a solid silver lower part – In a very modern twist the silver has a simple gold band on the upper part.
The crystal is delicately worked with light ridges.
The Carafe is definitely meant for liquor due to its size and shows the same work on the crystal as well as the same Gold band contrasting on the silver both on its lower edge and on the sides of the topper.
The delicate contrast shows a very modern approach and very similar to what would become the Art Deco movement.
Each shot glass stands 2.36 inhes high
The Carafe is 7.90 inches high.
The work is stunning due to its lightness and the pieces are in brilliant condition with no chips which is incredible due to the finesse of each glass.
They come in their oroginal presentation box which is in very good condition.
