A charming Antique French Silver Miniature Perfume bottle.
With the main part in gilded silver this lovely piece is enameled throughout with the Vermeil showing through at the closing.
On a dark garnet backing the enamel shows a Louis XVI Style décor with little cherubs standing on the forefront seemingly reading from a partition, while the remainder of the bottle is decorated with floral garlands.
The bottle is in excellent shape, and come in it original box.
The Hallmark is Poinçon à la Hure or Boar’s Head Hallmark for small silver objects of at least 800/1000 (hence second title), for Paris 1838/1919.
The Makers Mark is present however a little too erased for us to identify it. We will update if we are able to .
