The spouts base is lined with larger laurel leaves while the pouring end takes the perfect shape of an eagle’s head complete with carved out feathers!
The Coffee Pot rests on a three lions paws linked to the body by Swans with outstretched wings standing on classic pedestals.
The Finial, or ‘Frétel’, is in the form of an acorn resting on a crown of leaves and pine cones.
The middle register of the lid shows a wreath of laurel leaves.
The Body is decorated by a Monogram spelling DDB.
This lovely piece is in great condition with only a very small mark above the monogram.
The Length given above is taken from the tip of the spout to the tip of the handle.
