A Lovely Pair Of Louis XVI Style French Gilt Bronze or Ormolu Candlesticks.
This beautifully preserved candlestick pair is perfect for a dinner table or a dresser.
The straight jambs are slightly tapered fluted pilasters, with deep regular flutes, filleted below and decorated with palmettoes and tulip chutes
The rounded pedestals are decorated with stylized acanthus leaves and rest on 4 square feet.
The candleholders are decorated with gadroons and tulip chutes.
