Fine Pair of XIX Century French Ormolu & Bronze Tazza with gadrooned bodies raised on engraved and fluted stems decorated with acanthus leaves.
Medicis vase shaped they stand on Ormolu pedestals decorated with a frieze of water leaves.
The pedestals showcase 2 applied decorations of acanthus leaves rosettes and a wreath of laurel leaves tied with a flowing ribbon on the front part.
Lovely and very decorative!
They were very popular during the 1st Empire period and came back in fashion by the mid eighteen hundreds.
